You were 'given' Clomid? Was it a prescription from your OB or a monitored cycle with an RE? Big difference. (Did you have an HSG? Did DH do a sperm analysis?)

I am the OP and thanks for your concern. Yes I am waiting for my next period so that we can schedule IUI.... I am just really sad and depressed.. Its tough.

4 years is a long time. I know and it can be draining. Is there some reason that you aren't pursing ART more significantly with an RE? Clomid is a good first step, but there are lots of other interventions if you are willing to consider them.

I have been trying to conceive for 4 years now with no results. Dh and I just turned 40, I have never taken and contraceptives but my periods are so irregular. Sometimes I miss my period for about 2 months in a row...the first day of my last period was May 26th till June 7th..... I am tired of trying with no results. I was given Clomid but its just not working for me. I am so tired of trying and failing, I am getting more depressed and gaining more weight...... I hate all of this.
Sorry but I just had to vent.
