Please, please, please insist on getting that biopsied. Don't just go to a "regular" derm, go to an skin cancer specialist. Please. I have personal experience with this.

Really? I'm not pp but I have the same issue in three places. Have for years and the different derms I've seen shrugged it off. Never liked any of them much, though, since they gave me a hard time about worrying about skin cancer in my 20s. Maybe it's time to find a good doc. Any recs?

Call for a dermatologist appt tomorrow and tell the receptionist what happened. Let the dermatologist tell you if they are concerned etc. Hope it is ok but please don't spend hours on the Internet etc. Do what is helpful - and that would be to see a skin doc.
