Yes, we definitely do ice cubes on occasion. My husband or I only run with him on occasion, and if we do, it's during his long morning walk when it's not as hot. But yes, a good reminder to try to stay in the shade and on the grass, which we did today. He needs a lot of exercise--we do up to two hours total per day usually--but the hot sun really wears him out.
