i don't believe this is a troll. CLEARLY not as egregious as your honeymoon(omg) but MIL asked if she could come with us to a wedding out of the country. A wedding where she didn't know the bride or groom. We were making a long weekend out of it. She said she would stay in the hotel during the wedding events. Ridiculous...

This is a joke, right??? Honeymoon = trip for married couple to be together. Have your husband tell her NO. Plan another trip with her at a different time to soften the blow.

She just asked earlier if she could also come to the islands with us for our honeymoon. I entertained the idea for a little bit until she said that she wants to be in the same hotel suite as U.S. At this point I'm feeling like I don't even want to go. She is wonderful but I think she is overstepping here. How should we handle?
