My12 yr. old son is also at sleep away camp. I sent mad libs, I found a small "simon" game, frisbee and cards. The glow sticks sound fun. I also love the small water gun idea, do you think the camp would be ok with that?

Dollar store and fill one of the prepaid usps boxes with stuff. It's all junk but the kids love receiving it. Trust me, we are on our 4th year of sleep away camp.

Great idea about the squirt guns! And glow sticks he can share with others in his cabin. Decks of cards or sports trivia may go over well too.

I sent my DD a party pack of little water guns, glow in the dark items, and mad-libs.

Her camp allowed food-so I sent some pixie stixs and nutella to-gos.

I'd go the "survival in the wild" route with how-to books. So a combo of a knot tying book with a length of paracord and a new pocket knife or multitool.

DS will be away at camp next week and I need some creative ideas for a care package -- no food or electronics (the two main things he likes ) allowed. So far I have a book and mad-libs. Any suggestions?
