My girl gets dirty and plays rough, so always bike shorts or leggings. If she didn't wear them she'd be getting sand and dirt in her underwear.

Bike shorts or capri leggings -- I got some at Target and at Children's Place. A few dresses at this age still come with bloomers.

Just got some at target. We also regularly use the bottoms from the Carter's shorty pjs for this purpose.

My girls have always just worn underwear. If they wear capri leggings it's a fashion decision, but not a modesty one.

Most of the skirts I bought my DD up until she was about 7 had little bike shorts under them.

I just potty trained my 2.5 heart old DD so she's wearing regular underwear under her dresses. When she is playing, like a little girl her age should do without constriction, I sometimes see more than just her underwear, depending on how she is sitting. Her dresses are not short and her underwear are not to big. Not sure what to do about this but I obviously want to keep her covered. Any ideas what to put under her dress? Shorts look a bit bulky. Thanks!
