Never, ever have drapes that don't touch the floor. They should either "kiss" the floor or they can pool on the floor (that's a taste thing). No one wants capri length drapes. Ick.

Reminds me of the famous middle aged women and capri pants thread, which dates back to about 2010 and still gets resurrected every summer.

But too short curtains remind me of men whose socks are not long enough to completely cover their leg when they sit and the bottom of their pants ride up a bit.

Guest room has both a window and a sliding glass door that opens to a deck. I want to hang similar draperies on both, but the top of frame to floor on the door would require a 95" panel, and top of frame to floor is only 84" on window. Do I hang the window rod well above the window (10"?) in order to make them same length, or do I just hang different length panels on these?

Also - it's better to drag drapes than be too short right?
