I just paid $2000 for panels for 2 windows. About 1/2 that was the fabric. Included rods and installation. Not sure they were worth it.

I have had good luck with blinds.com for blinds and roman shades.

Believe it or not, it doesn't sound unreasonable for custom window treatments.

I was shocked and then I took a sewing class.

We've chosen a simple linen but still expensive. We priced out 2 large windows (floor length) and 3 roman shades and it came to 4k. Is that very $$ or is that to be expected. Just very surprised. Wondering if I should look into pottery barn, restoration hardware etc... Thanks fir your input!

Custom treatments are inherently expensive, but the cost beyond labor is largely dependent upon your choice of fabric.

I have 1 huge window, 2 typical windows, a long one and a small one so we think we need custom window treatments. Does any one have a suggestion of who to get help with this? We found one person and got a quote of 4k... This sounds expensive, but maybe we just don't know how much these things cost. Would really appreciate any input! Thank you
