I took my son to a Music and Me class when he was 3 or 4. It was pretty good. Played around on the piano. Learned some basic music theory. Rhythm, tempo, Middle C, whole notes, quarter notes, half notes, rest. Got a CD of the songs they play to listen to at home.

I'm signing him back up for group piano lessons now at age 8, this fall.

I don't know how it compares to Jordan Kitt's, though.

Does anyone have any experiene with either Jordan Kitt's YAMAHA group lessons and/or Music in Me classes at Academy of Fine Arts in Gaithersburg? I am trying to decide between the two classes but it's hard to when they don't seem to offer trial classes. Any inputs or opinions would be appreciated. Thanks!
