Good one. Thank you! Especially, in the DMV. Nothing like watching people on HGTV purchasing mansions for $300k in Montana when you can't even buy can't buy a decent single family for that around here. Maybe a median home prices guide for various DMV cities for 3b/2b SFHs would be interesting?

Now that's a good topic. Including, you have to actually budget for and pay your architects and other design professionals, and they don't do all their work instantaneously, like on TV.

When you say "discount broker" - is that just because you paid less than 6% or is that how they advertise themselves? What percentage did you pay?


I paid 2.5 to the buyer's agent and 1 percent to the selling agent. Due to location of the home, I knew the house would sell so there was no need to pay more in commission. I used RedFin. I interviewed about 5 agents before decided on RedFin.


Interesting, so for 3.5% - you got full-service. Was there anything about the transaction that you didn't like or that you thought could have been better? Did you also buy a home from the same agent?

Those don't really strike me as blog fodder. They're fairly generic topics... Try to be original, offer some actual insights.

If you specialize in communities, blog about things like community events. Maybe provide a tutorial on how swimming pools work in this area. Try to get evergreen content.
