--professional photos
--3-D tour
--Showing service
--reduced commission
--CAD layout of house
--professional brochures
--well-written blurb
--electronic and in-person agent communication
--original agent at closing
These are all the services that I received with a discount broker. House sold in less than a week.
These are great suggestions! Thank you! I have no doubt that your house sold so quickly because of all this fantastic marketing.
When you say "discount broker" - is that just because you paid less than 6% or is that how they advertise themselves? What percentage did you pay?
I paid 2.5 to the buyer's agent and 1 percent to the selling agent. Due to location of the home, I knew the house would sell so there was no need to pay more in commission. I used RedFin. I interviewed about 5 agents before decided on RedFin.

Since I can't post the link, here are some I've already covered:

5 Reasons 2015 will be a great year for Real Estate
Home Owners Insurance 101
Who pays buyer agent commission?
5 Tips to Prevent Identity Theft
Factors in your FICO
I'm pretty new to DCUM and I started my blog in December 2014. I don't mind spending a decent amount of time writing blogs that people will find useful, so I was just looking for recommendations so as not to waste my time on stuff people really don't care about.

Please don't. Then we would have every third poster here posting links to their blogs.
