Which media? Fox is reporting a it as a probable hate crime, saying he let one woman like so she could 'tell others about it'. That sounds pretty sane to me. They said nothing about mental illness.

One of the dead was a pastor who was a state political figure an an outspoken activist. I would say Fox is correct that this is a probable hate crime.

This! Why does the media make excuses for white shooters and cover issues in a way that suggests they are not culpable terrorists?
