Dh wouldn't mind. I think I only asked him once in 11 years of us being intimate though. It's a sign you're intimate enough with a woman that she'd ask that.

I asked DH to do it once and thought he would be mortified. But no, he was like, "OK. Blue box, yellow writing." Then I believe he made a joke about flow. Sometimes I do not give him enough credit.

So should I not have to buy hemorrhoid medication for DH or treatment for any other embarrassing condition that is not mine? I think that's a bit silly. And I agree with a PP that if it's such an issue buy online or choose a store with a self checkout system. Voila. Problem solved.

I don't wear pads, but my dog does (for pee). So DH often has to buy the monster sized overnight pads for the dog. Those are kinda embarrassing to buy! A nice box of Tampax has nothing on those monster pads.

I've done it. I was neither embarrassed nor humiliated. They're menstrual products. So what?

My husband wouldn't like it but he would do it gladly if it needed to be done. And now with self checkouts at all the grocery stores/Phaeacians here's no interaction with the checker if that's an issue.

I think the truth is somewhere in the middle between embarrassment and humiliation. I'd do anything for DW but would really HATE doing that...

Friend and I visited another friend who recently had a DS and asked if we could do any errands/shopping for her but she said her DH was keeping up with it. She joked that he even had run out to get her the monster size pads one needs postpartum. When we left my friend was mortified and said she would never "humiliate" her DH like that. I said a man might be embarrassed by it but that's not the same as humiliation. We argued it out over the car ride back and agreed to pose it to DCUM for arbitration. Thoughts?
