Foxhall Obgyn. If I was still in DC that's where I would go. Good solid practice. Dr. Sarafian and Jerome are great.

Thank you all. I have been to the CWC in Bethesda - I had been going to them since I was a teenager and I feel that they are not as helpful anymore unfortunately. I switched to the DC one thinking it would be better but its like an assembly line in there. Thank you for the midwife suggestion. I may go that route.

If you want someone that's going to give you a lot of attention, have you thought about midwives? They can do all routine gynecological care and send out for all tests. I like the Medstar Midwives and the OB/Gyn practice that they work with at Washington Hospital Center. There are lots of reviews of them on the Expectant Moms board. I thought of them for you mostly because it sounds like you're frustrated that no one has taken your concerns seriously, and they are very good at listening carefully.

Dr. Susan Hurson on New Mexico near AU is fabulous. She doesn't take insurance, but they will submit for you.
She's solo, and will take lots of time with you. Love her!

Hi - I'm 35 and having some vaginal issues. I have itching and just a feeling of not being okay down there. I have been tested for years and bV etc and nothing had come up. I've been going to capital womens care on K street and am not happy there. I'm looking for a smaller practice where I can really discuss what's going on and have tests run again. Please help!!!! I plan to have another child in a year and need to have this sorted out. Please give me some names of somebody you trust and who will investigate issues.
