welcome! I remember when I was young my mom used a frozen juice box as an ice pack - worked perfectly and there was nothing to remember to bring home. I don't know if they're actually safe to freeze, but if they are and you send juice with your son, that might be another option!

With an insulated bag and an ice pack, sure. It will be fine for 3 hours that way. With nothing to keep it kind of cold until lunch, though, I wouldn't do it.

Lunches are not refrigerated. My kid is a super-picky eater but has been on a tofu-dog kick lately. Would it go bad if it sits out in the heat for 3 hours? TIA!
