Same experience here. Since these aftercare programs are often located at schools and get a discount to operate they are in effect getting public subsidies. Legally, they must accommodate all children including those with disabilities. In practice, many of them don't want to be troubled with our kids. If you need such a program I would fight to get what you need for your child and your work.

Any after school program that is open to general ed kids is open to all kids. Now, getting the appropriate supports is another issue and one that we've had to deal with.
