Your arches fall as you get older. I would get some orthotic arch supports such as Spenco polysorb or Vionic Orthaheel. I assume you are clipping in in bike shoes. If not, you should as bike shoes provide more foot support and help with a more intense ride.

I used to be big into spinning about 5 years ago. I just started taking classes and half way through my last class my arches started killing me. I have cycling shoes and this never happened before with them. I ended up leaving the class early because they hurt so much. Does anyone know what caused this or how to help it?? TIA
