Happens to me in humid summer weather. Also more likely when you are wearing sandals with space for the swelling to go. When you have socks aNo shoes on you have built in compression going on, reducing the swelling.

Drink lots and lots of water and eat much less salt. If you eat out a lot, stop eating out (too much salt). Check the labels of the processed food you eat and take note of your sodium intake. Keep it under 1500 mg per day.

My sandals are bothering me this past week and I noticed that the tops of my feet are swollen.
