Acrylic showers and tub surrounds are low end.

I just ripped out my fiberglass surround that a flipper did and replaced it with tile, solely for resale to give the impression that the whole house is renovated.

Acrylic showers are only good in trailers. I think they're EXTREMELY hard to clean. That plastic shit doesn't scrub well.

I hate acrylic showers. To me they are symbolic of people trying to cheap out on their renovations.

Tile - and I bought a lower priced house in the last year. I don't find acrylic easier to clean.

Ugh, I hate tile because it's so hard to clean; however, I would would do the tile just for resale purposes. Good luck!!

I am redoing my master bath in a 1960s silver spring rambler. I would prefer acrylic shower because it is easier to clean, but I am worried about resale in a few years. Is it really a big deal? We paid $340k for the house three years ago.
