I just dampen a paper towel, and follow up quickly with a dry paper towel. It works fine for most of the streaks.

Pledge for specials surfaces. Some people swear by the original Pledge in the yellow can - I haven't tried that but I've found their SS cleaner to be very effective.

There is a spray for stainless steel. I forget the name, but the grey can says something about it. Through trial and error I learned to spray it, slather around with a paper towel, then let it sit for 15-30 minutes, then clean up with dry paper towel. Works pretty well.
