I love my Road Runner Sports undies. Wicking fabric, no wedgies. Not sure if their XS would fit her or not.

Moving Comfort also makes undies. I found them way too narrow in the crotch, but that might make them better for a tween???

Ex Officio is a travel clothing company, and they make wicking, quick dry undies. Thongs and granny panties. Weren't a great fit for me, but they are sold at REI, etc.

They're not cheap, but Patagonia makes great underwear.

Compression shorts. They don't have to be name brand, its all about fit and comfort.

At what age do the running shorts start coming with built in undies? I know soccer shorts are different....

Cotton is not a performance fabric. How old is your DD, and what size? I know when I'm not wearing running shorts (a no-undie sport) I have "performance" undies that I got at target for times I want panties. They are in the ladies section.

I have boys and they wear "performance" boxer briefs for their sports. It's wicking fabric and we buy them at Kohls. They also buy them at A&F Kids so the "cool" band can stick out. (eye roll)

Is this a thing? My daughter doesn't like anything too tight, including underwear, so her regular ol' Hanes cotton underwear is a bit baggy. For sports she needs something that fits better, she is always adjusting her underwear/shorts out on the soccer field.
