After going through about five in the past ten years -- small Persian, Flor tiles, indoor/outdoor rug -- we now use a pretty braided rug. From Urban Outfitters of all places.

I can pick it up, shake it outside and then most importantly toss it into the washing machine.

Everything else just got so dirty it was ridiculous.

This this this! Ours has been awesome for the past five years, it never moves and still looks great.


It never moves = our prior one would slip and slide all over the place, even with a rug pad.

overstock has a ton of indoor/outdoor rugs. If they get dirty you can rinse them off with a hose and hang to dry.
