This seems like a really odd reason not to vote for someone.
Huh? This is how you build a track record in local government. You volunteer for a task force, head your civic association, participate in an APS planning committee, a county committee... these are the avenues for civic involvement where you show your talent and your commitment to the community.
I get that. but she doesn't have 0 experience. She's barely 30. And how much more do you know about how the other candidates are going to be on the board from their experience that you wouldn't have been able to glean from a thinner resume?

Definitely no to Dorsey... we don't need another Garvey.

She wants to put affordable housing on park land. NO WAY.
The other candidates said they don't think affordable housing should be built on parks, and that park land should be purchased and protected by the county. She's the only one who has said she doesn't think the county should have more parkland and that we should astroturf (?!) the parks we already have. UGH!
If this is true, this would really trouble me. I attended the last of the forums and heard Christian Dorsey say he would consider using parkland for affordable housing, but the other candidates seemed to give a clear "no way" to that. Did I misunderstand?
