Are either of the Watkins APs vying for admin jobs within the cluster?

What makes you say this? Do you know who the new AP is? Who the new PTA leadership is? Or are you just talking?

Not the poster who made this comment, but the new PTA leadership is rumored to be extremely good. (I don't know them personally, but hear great things from parents I trust.)

I suspect an announcement about a new Principal will be made before school ends. Certainly that's what they've been aiming for. Let's hope.

I speculate that the new Principal will have some say in selecting the two new APs; if so, that process will take place over the summer.

When will they announce the new principal? How did the interview day go?

The Assistant Principal at Peabody is going to Vanness. He will be a teacher and I think has some administrative duties too. Unsure of exact role.

That's a demotion.

A deserved one. She only cares about Stuart Hobson anyway.

I don't know if the principal at Peabody is leaving, but I don't think it's for Van Ness. Their new principal was an AP at Seaton.

The PTA turnover is just the normal end of terms. It's not connected to the administration changes.

No announcements have been made yet. I know they were interviewing earlier this week.

What's going on in the cluster? I hear that the leadership of the PTA has turned over. In addition to the principal at Peabody leaving for Van Ness, the overarching Principal being demoted to Stuart only, at least one AP at Watkins leaving. Not saying that these are bad things, but what's the scoop?
