I used IKEA PAX and absolutely loved it.

We used Elfa to do MB closets and kids' bedrooms all at once (bought during one of semi-annual sales at Container Store). Would have liked to go with something a little nicer, but simply couldn't afford it. They all actually look pretty nice. We do love our valet hooks, belt and tie hangers. My mistake was getting too many shoe racks in the master. ended up having to swap a shoe rack out for an extra rod for hanging space. We did not get the hampers as we already had hampers we liked and had space for them in the bathrooms. One piece of advice if you go with Elfa .. is to go ahead and get your designs worked out ahead of time so they have them in the system when the sale starts, so that when the sale starts you can just buy. It's a madhouse in the stores during the sales.

We are renovating our master bath and closet area and debating using an elfa type system or something nicer. If you've done this before, or have one or the other, would love to her your opinion. Also what are features you have in there that you are surprised you use/love (valet hook? hamper), and what are the things you don't use or are annoying.
