I have the first -- it runs huge so size down. I am 36C and I'm wearing either a small or an x-small in this!

Be aware that if you are bloated when you put this on, you WILL look pregnant. Definitely for those flat stomach days.

My husband says the dresses look like "potato sacks'. He was right.

Things are very widely cut. I started to think maybe they were like Lane Bryant.

I like the second one but think you need to be a bean pole to wear it

the first one could be hit or miss - depending on how standard your body size is and where the cut lies, if that makes sense.

I also like the first better than the second. I think a waist is a must.

I was also going torecommend Boden - they have a lot of jersey dresses, often in fun prints.

At 5'4" (my height, too) petite sizing for dresses often works better for the "not swimming in them" look.

So not a fan of the potato sack dress, and the asymmetry makes everything look worse.

THey look a little too loose for my taste (might read frumpy or maternity). I really like a lot of Boden's dresses and they have a 25% off sale on dresses today.

I ordered the first one last year. Had to return it because it looked like a maternity dress on me, but that may just be my body type (I'm a size 10 so on the larger side).

I am on the short side (5'4") so definitely don't want anything I'll be swimming in. If you've ordered this style of dress from Garnet Hill before, did you find it too flowy?
