Pottery Barn pillow with her initial embroidered on it. You can order and have it shipped to her directly with a note from you. That's the next gift for my mom. I struggle with gifts and have done all the same that you have. PB also has cosmetic bags that can be personalized with initials. A summery bag would be nice too. Or a sun hat with matching gardening gloves if she's into that. Good luck!

It's It's the gift that keeps on giving I gave it to my mom who is over 70 and she loves it; sge calls every month to describe what's in her box.
I would also send Frank picture of your family like you your husband and your kids if she doesn't already have something like that. It may be a nice way of extending your self to her and helping her to feel little more included in your life as you may not know what regrets and issue she has. It's a way of including her without having to extend yourself to the point of being vulnerable to her disappearing again

My mother and I don't really have a relationship due to her not having contact with me after my parents divorced when I was 11. In the past 5 years she has initiated a bit with phone calls and texts (about her life, not much interest in mine). She has sent me a birthday gift and sends about $20 to my kids on their birthdays. Trying to think of a gift to send her for her birthday. She lives alone in the south. I have sent lotion, pajamas, and plants in the past. Anyone have any ideas for me.
