No known thyroid issues - my last blood work check up was about 3 months ago

Thyroid issues? Do you have sudden weight gain or loss. I had this fir a while until I got it checked ( I had also gained 10 lbs in a month mostly abdomen). They did a blood test and I had an under active thyroid. On Synthroid for many years now

No pain, but I definitely find it's worse with stress.

Is there pain as well?

All of a sudden this weekend, I developed a sensation in my throat where it feels tight, like a strangling, or like that throat feeling when you're trying not to cry. I also feel like I have more phlegm than usual. Eating actually makes it feel better, but swallowing when not eating feels weird. I have a doctors appointment next week, but I wanted to see if others have experienced this. Initial research looks like LPR, which os a type of reflux and I'm going to try Prevacid tomorrow.
