PP again - bugaboo has a nice buggy board. As well as phil and teds, mountain buggy, baby jogger, and Orbit (my favorite that I've seen, expensive though!)

What about a stroller with a buggy board? A 4 year old might use the stroller for a few months but not sure it's worth getting a whole double.

Take a trip up to Great Beginnings in Gaithersburg and try them out. They have a large selection of doubles and you can find one that both suits your needs and that you like. If you don't have a car, this is very worth going to Rockville Metro station and taking a zip car from there up to Gaithersburg. Nothing beats hands-on trying it. When we had our twins, we were looking at three models and despite all of the on-line references and chat fora (Windsor Peak, Places to Go is the best forum for strollers, FYI), and the recommendations of many, many others, the one they recommended the most to me (Britax B-Ready) just didn't work for us. But we only figured out the things that we didn't like from going to Great Beginnings and trying the strollers out. One of the best things is that if you leave your driver's license at the desk, they'll let you take the stroller out and go around the parking lot with it, see how it pops the curb and, in our case, very importantly, we could see whether the stroller would fold down enough to fit in our smaller car. We ended up with the Baby Jogger City Select Double which worked best for us.

21:42. It's been several years since my kids were in strollers, so i thougth I'd check out the other two to see how out of control the strollers have become. OMG! $300 and those contraptions look like a hot mess! Sometimes simple is best.

This is basically what we had. We got tons of mileage out of it and they could load themselves up from the time they could walk.

Just get a side by side umbrella stroller. It's much easier to maneuver than the front/back. The front/back is fine for awhile, but they will outgrow it soon. You can use the side by side for years to come. It will be easy for them to hop in and out.

Hi! I have a 4year-old and a 6month-old. I want a double stroller that is easy to maneuver in the city and as lightweight as possible. A friend recommended the Joovy Caboose Ultralight Stroller. However, I was reading some Amazon reviews.... It seems in the new model, the front seat is always reclined, which makes the back seat very tight and uncomfortable...

Any suggestions, please? Thanks!!!
