I've made another one from scratch that uses three different chocolates (cooks illustrated) that is even better, but can't find the recipe because I haven't used it in years. Too high maintenance.

I can make other chocolate things much better from scratch but I have yet to find a brownie recipe that is better than this one. And certainly not easier!
Would one use milk instead of water for this recipe? Or is that just for cake mixes?
