I started wearing a seatbelt in taxis nearly a decade ago. It's f'in stupid not to.

He was one of those SNL cast members that I always wanted to like. I wanted him to be funny so badly but he always sucked for some reason and I just never laughed at anything he did. Tragic accident though.

I lived in Hollywood and met him on 2 occasions. One at a birthday party and one at a Super Bowl party. He was one of the nicest guys I've met in Hollywood. Very down to earth, funny guy. I'm not a fan of his TV comedy but naturally dude is prett funny. You say you met him? Did you actually sit next to him on plane?

Very sad for all involved. I imagine he will never be the same.

Yes, the lawyer seemed like a douche and more of a spokesperson for Wal-Mart.

Morgan's never shied away from expressing emotion. He did seem really subdued though.

I couldn't understand what you were talking about initially but this makes sense to me. The lawyer was interjecting stuff about Walmart at such odd and inappropriate times that I wouldn't be surprised if this was the reason.

Why would he need to play it up, OP? The case has been settled. Sometime I wonder why people just can't take things at face value.

This interview brought me to tears. My father suffered a traumatic brain injury in an accident almost 20 years ago and the similarities between Tracy's story, hosptilization, recovery, and his current demeanor and my father's experience are uncanny. My dad still tired easily and gets emotional. If my dad wasn't a 67 year old white guy I would have thought it was him talking.

Trust me, OP, it's genuine emotion and he did remarkably well in the interview. I'll be pleasantly surprised if he recovers enough to return to performing.

He seemed very depressed which is common in people who have had traumatic brain injuries. He did not smile even once and he is clearly devastated about losing his friend. Unfortunately, it's likely that his head injury has changed his persona. If, after a year, he cannot smile and crack a joke, I wonder if he will ever be a performer again.

Wow... I don't know that he was ready to do an interview yet. He said the case is settled, but he still had his attorney with him - I wonder if there are going to be additional suits. I also found it interesting how he had his cane right in front of him, square in the camera, the whole time. Most people that I know with canes set them to the side when they sit down.

I'm *not* saying he is playing it up, I don't mean that at all - it seems like genuine emotion. But I do wonder a bit if this isn't a play from his attorney/handlers. Because he really didn't seem like he should be out giving an interview in his emotional state.
