Look into these wraps. Not a magic bullet but helps aid in recovery. Worth a look into. http://www.kingbrand.com/Peroneal_Tendonitis_Treatment.php?REF=34PV67.316 I used them for carpal tunnel and they really helped. Same idea, get the inflammation down to enable the blood to flow through more freely, then by stimulating it, it will help heal and repair the damaged tissues.
I've just developed ankle tendinitis for the first time this spring, caused (I think) by changing my stance in tennis. Advil helps a lot, but anytime I play - which is often - it flares up again. I hate tendinitis; I have it in my elbows too and it doesn't seem like it every really resolves.
Has anyone dealt with peroneal tendinitis or tendinosis? I was marathon training and developed this injury. I am now starting my 4th month of dealing with this problem. I was booted for a portion of the time. I had been off my feet with minimal walking and I am still not improving. What was your recovery and did you have a "magic bullet" for recovery? Dr. isn't very encouraging.
