For a 13 year old, yeah. She's probably 140 to 150 pounds and isn't even through puberty yet. She's going to be heavy if her parents don't take action now.

NP here. To be honest we can't tell without the height. But I suspect she is overweight because, well, this is America and most people ARE overweight.

I think the stretch marks are inevitable. My 14 year old is still a size 1/xs and a b cup, but she recently grew 2 inches and now has stretch marks on her legs. They'll fade to white in a few months

Try scoop neck tees, I found nice ones at target that are a good rise. Crew necks make breasts look larger. I was a C/D in high school and just kept growing

My DD is similar - we do really well with Lands End - they have plus sizes for girls which works well with curves, and also she does well in the women's petites. Bought her cute t-shirt type stretch bras - I think they are called "Joe Cool" or something at Sears (where Lands End is anyway) - they have removable pads and work really well without the pads.

is she tall? if so i would stay away from Jr's departments and stores that cater to younger women (F21, H&M) as the dresses, shorts, etc... are just so short if you are over 5'7". I would recommend Gap and Loft, and Uniqlo for basics like t-shirts, leggings, sweaters that aren't made of tissue material.

Finding a good bathing suit for the summer that she feels comfortable in is going to be a challenge, so start looking now!

My daughter went through a similar phase. She went from a B to a D cup in just 2 years and really needed to start dressing differently, but I knew she was uncomfortable about it.

Nordstrom juniors dept
Urban Outfitters
H& M

The key is to look for items that are modest/not overly sexualized but still appropriately fashionable for a young teen. Good luck.

My 13yr old has grown very rapidly in the past year. quickly formed hips, from an A to a C cup and unfortunately her thighs a little too. She has stretch marks on the outside of her breasts as well as her inner thighs. She is not overweight by any means. She wears a size 6-8 in shorts and medium shirts. But she is still kid like and a little embarrassed of her woman figure as well as the stretch marks. She always only wants to wear baggy t-shirts and longer type jean shorts, almost bermuda style. I finally got her to realize she needs to wear a bra sometimes and not just shorts bras. She HATES to shop and although 90% of the time, I don't care what she wears, I am looking for some slightly dressing shorts outfits for nicer dinners, out with friends and beach items. Everything we run into is low cut v-necks or wide necks you can see bra stapes, 3" inseam shorts, see-thru tops that you need to wear camis under. Nothing that works for her.

I would love some ideas. Thanks in advance.
