Take a step back. No one is opposed to fertility treatments. I just think paying to create a designer child is a slippery slope. And family balancing is BS. There is a reason most clinics won't do it even if it is not technically against the rules. Because it is gross, and if you only want you perfect vision of a child you shouldn't have kids at all.

correct. for some reason, however, it seems to be against SGs internal ethical codes, as we we were told that the gender of the embryos would not be revealed unless and untill we were actually pregnant. for those unfortunate women who have to go through reductions, many doctors will allow them choose (if medically possible) based on gender as well.
