DS is 10. I do $15 if he knows the kid, but is not good friends. $20 - $25 for good friends. I usually do Itunes, Gamestop or Amazon gift card. I find 10 and up is a little too old for Toys R Us - my son never goes their anymore. The only thing that age group is looking for are computer/video games and maybe Legos which you can get cheaper elsewhere. Most of the boys (as long as they have an ipad or similar device) like getting Itunes cards so they can buy Apps for it. I'll usually check in with a parent before buying Itunes/Gamestop cards to make sure it's OK. If not, then I go with Amazon gift card.

I always do 15 to target. I usually add something little to unwrap... like a 5 dollar nerf gun, pool toy, DVD.

I usually spend $15. (If both my kids are invited, I spend $30.) I always give a gift card to Toys R Us or Target. Giving straight cash to a kid just seems a little bland to me.

I'd take my son to the toy store. Kids are great at picking out toys for other kids their age. My DD is a genius at this.

$15-20. I would personally do cash in a card, instead of a gift card.
