Subject: CMI & DCBilingual New Buildings - More Classes?
Because they are absorbing kids from CAPCS who are entering pk4-1 (maybe 2?) but there are no extra kids to absorb for pk3. As far as I know it is a done deal and they are recruiting teachers.

22:08 why not PK3 as well? Have they announced this or do you know when they may announce it?

I never bothered to research CMI because it's too far from my house, but I just wanted to say your building is beautiful! So happy for you guys!

Does anyone know how many classes DC Bilingual had of PK3 and for how many in the lottery? It sounds like CMI had 3 classes of 17 in the lottery, correct?

17:44 Do you know if they filled this new CMI class through the lottery or waitlist already?

Yes, CMI is adding a 3rd PK3 class, but that was already in the plans before the budget changes came into play. With the new building, there will be space for 3 classes of 17 through 8th eventually.

With the new locations and expenses/budget cuts, does anyone know if CMI or DCBilingual are considering adding more classes (particularly PK3)?
