Share of McLean will do this, but you need to call them to check on which items they will take. Not sure about rugs. But they did come into our house & haul away a couch, dining room table, and end tables.

A Wider Circle is great. They have a big warehouse in Silver Spring and you just pull up and they unload your car and are really appreciative. I think they will also do pick ups.

OP here. I just want to get rid of everything in one effort so craigslist is not really an option. Thanks.

Is it in bad shape? Why not just sell on craigslist.

Hello all! I am doing some work redecorating my home and I have some furniture and area rugs that I am looking to get donated. Does anyone have the name of a charity that will actually enter my home and help me carry some of the items out? I know there are plenty of places that will take the furniture from my front porch, but I need help getting the items there. Thanks!
