40DD, and I own 6 bras and rotate them for different purposes. I wash my bras after 3-5 wearings, generally. More if I've sweated a lot in them. I just wash them in the regular machine on the gentle cycle. When I remember I line dry them, otherwise into the dryer they go.

36C here. I'm embarrassed to admit how infrequently I wash my bras. They don't stink. I buy every 3 years or so.

I'm a 32G, and I wash after 1-3 wearings, depending on weather and how much I've sweated. If you have a large cup size, the band is wider and so closer to your armpits. I would think small busted women could get away with less frequent washing because the top of the band is further from stinky pits.

My bras are about $70. I put them in a mesh bag and machine wash on gentle, hang to dry. The heat of the dryer does the most damage to bras because it kills elastic.

I'm obsessive and meticulous about my custom altered, expensive bras. I generally spend about $100 per bra (Chantelle) and have built up a nice wardrobe of beautifully designed bras in different styles and fits.

All that said, I hand wash my bras after each wear. Couldn't be simpler, just swish in tepid water with a few drops of gentle dish detergent or even baby soap. Drip dry.

Do you take a shower in the morning or at night? Because if you're taking a shower in the morning, you're then getting into bed with a dirty body. Why would you do that?

OP, is your question about how often you wash them or how often you buy new ones? Because if you wash them, they won't get to the gross state of disintegration as quickly, which forces you to buy new ones. But, on the other hand, if you wash them too much, that's not good either.

In response to 8:16, I'm have a 38G cup. I do hand wash them every night in a basin of soapy water, and then rotate their use. But that's only in the hot weather, because they get sweat on them and start to hold odor. In the cooler months I don't do this. I can't throw them in the washer b/c they are underwire bras and expensive.

I hate to put even this much thought into bra hygiene, but when you have huge tatas it's unavoidable and a PITA.

Mine never smell. I wash maybe every other week or longer.

If I know it's going to be a sweat bath outside (say at an outdoor event), I'll wear an older bra that washes better.

God I hate all of my bras. I've been fitted, done the Nordstroms route, Intimacy, tried every single one on at Victoria's Secret- hate them all.

I usually have 2 or 3 target bras that I rotate and wash once a week. I guess I am a smelly person, b/c mine start to smell after a few wears.

Did anyone see that segment/ how girlfriends and sisters would bring them on camera and expose them for not ever washing their bras? I would have never spoken to them again, humiliating them on TV. That being said, I am guilty. I never wash them often. I have the same bras for years.
