Best tres leches cake in NoVa is Tiffany's, locations in Annandale and Falls Church. They can do special-orders.

Heidelberg Bakery on Lee Highway. We taste tested all the flavors when picking our wedding cake. The almond cake was definitely our favorite. Not a strong "almondy" taste -- just ridiculously moist and delicious.

Fluffy Thoughts is also great!

I'm not sure what "specialized" means exactly, but the Alexandria Pastry Shop, Heidelberg Bakery in Arlington and Victoria's Cakery in Fairfax all have delicious cake. You could call and ask if they could make what you're looking for.

A fancy princess cake for a kid's birthday party. I want the cake to taste good though. There's a european bakery in Falls Church which has delicious cake, but I don't think their decoration skills are on point.
