But you might want to consider how to update the layout rather than buy specific appliances to fit a decades-old layout. Gardenweb's Kitchen forum is a gold mine of great advice!

Subject: Compact, wall-mounted oven
We are updating a tiny kitchen that has a wall-mounted oven from probably the 1970s/80s that is hung directly above the cooktop. It's kind of a crazy configuration, but it works in this small setting. We'd like to replace the oven, but can't seem to find one that can be mounted outside a cabinet and that is small enough. Any suggestions? We're looking for something that is about 20x26 and around 20 inches deep. IKEA does not seem to carry wall ovens anymore.
