The best watermelons we get are later in the season, WITH seeds, from the farmer's market. Oh baby baby.

We've also had some very yummy cantaloupes these last few weeks.

It's just me who eats it (DH and DS are allergic!), so I bought the quarter melon that is in the fridge section at Giant. Bonus, you can see the color and poke through the plastic to test texture. It was SO good!

Had some surprisingly good corn on the cob too. Summer is coming early in more ways than one.

Big seedless ones have been on sale at giant the last couple weeks and the first one we got was good-- haven't tried the second.

I've bought so at Trader Joe's (one mini, one big one) and both were good. The big one was slightly better.

We got a seedless personal one at Whole Foods last week. Enjoying the last of it with dinner tonight. Yum!

Has anyone bought a good watermelon lately? (Sweet and crisp, not soft) If yes, could you please share at what store and what kind of watermelon (personal or full sized seedless)? Usually if I buy one too early in the year, it's too soft and sometimes rotten inside.
