I disagree with this OP - I like that white blends into the ceiling, but just make sure it's high quality and not cheap plastic-looking. I find that the "wood grain" blinds look tacky. I've seen dark colors like oil rubbed bronze or metallic that look nice, but wood stained/faux wood just looks so 1980s, ew!!

Oh give me a break. White is fine and I am by no means "country". I think it's ridiculous to match fan to the wood grain of the furniture... now that's is country. Do you also match your shoes and purse?![]()
