Edgecomb Gray is just stunning. Love it. Revere Pewter is probably too dark for a house that doesn't get much light., although it could be used selectively for contrast (e.g., bathroom).

We did BM Manchester tan throughout the entire house almost and sold quickly a couple weeks ago! Had a nice white trim to go with it. Looked great.

Bm simply white. I have a 1920s colonial. It really brightened it up.

Minimize the gray. If you must, the smallest bit of a very soft dove gray. Like the color one sees at sunrise. Set your house apart from all the other medium-dark gray houses that painted that way because it is trendy.

Second the idea about shades of BM's white line.

BM Manchester Tan is our local stores #1 whole interior paint color; flying off the shelves I'm told.

I honestly don't know why either. There is something amazingly old and bland about MT. I'm not a gray lover, but Edgecomb Gray seems more sophisticated, complicated than Manchester Tan, although it may have a greenish undertone in some light.

BM decorator white is a favorite of designers; it's a bright white, great for large windowed homes with white furniture.

How about BM decorator white?

We painted another room last year in Stonington Gray by BM- very light gray (not at all "greige"), which is also nice.

I am about to do my dining room in Revere Pewter. I think I will do a patch of it alongside Edgecomb Gray just to be safe. Thanks, pp.

OP, what about Manchester Tan? That was recommended by our stager when we painted before selling last year, and it looked really nice.

I think our home was painted in Moonshine by BM (but color matched into the cheapest, crappiest paint ever). It's really nice -- I'm considering painting it in the same color in a better quality paint (like actual BM instead of whatever crap the cheap-ass previous owners used).

Second the no yellow! Just painted my yellow house in Behr's Wheat Bread, with Chocolate Froth in the smaller rooms. Used to be on the same chip before Behr redid all the chips. Nice greige color but crap paint.

Behr off-white for neutral effect or clear moon for bright white with tiny hint of yellow. Behr ultra pure white for the trim.

I have a small 1940s colonial style home, which doesn't get a ton of sunlight due to lovely big leafy trees in the yard. I have the rooms painted bright colors but we are getting ready to sell and the realtor said we should have a fresh paint job with all rooms in a "greige" (grey-beige) color. Can anyone recommend a specific color that is neutral but still brightens the look of the house. Thanks.
