Revere Pewter (which I wanted to love) looked too dark in the rooms, so we went with Edgecomb Gray. It is definitely a greige/taupe color, and is not too dark. I really like it. We painted another room last year in Stonington Gray by BM- very light gray (not at all "greige"), which is also nice.
I am about to do my dining room in Revere Pewter. I think I will do a patch of it alongside Edgecomb Gray just to be safe. Thanks, pp.
OP, what about Manchester Tan? That was recommended by our stager when we painted before selling last year, and it looked really nice.
