I have no idea what point, if any, you are trying to make. But, please explain the argument in favor of leaving a thread that's primary point is that our forum does not have serious discussion? What type of response do you think that is likely to generate? Probably not the "serious" type that the poster seems to desire and definitely not on topic for the forum.

The post that I removed roughly said, "I am interested in a forum that has serious discussion. This one is clearly not it. Can someone recommend another". I am not sure how that can be read as anything more than a complaint about the level of discussion in our forum and there is certainly no way to understand it to mean what you have explained above.

That said, I'm not sure what to tell you. I have no idea whether any of our posters know about other forums or not. You can try asking again if you do it in a less condescending manner.
