I was barely 9 when I saw the movie the first time. It was one of the first movies I saw in theaters. My Dad was a SF Geek, so I'd already seen the Star Wars movie(s?) & was familliar with StarTrek, so the whole "Darth Vader/Vulcan" reference totally solidified this as the BEST MOVIE EVER!!!
It's the 30th anniversary of the movie. I don't know whether to feel old or vindicated that it's still a "thing" dacades later.
Hush up that was just a few years ago when I was in jr high school....

I was three when it came out, but I clearly remember seeing it when my mom rented it from Erol's about a year later. It was my favorite movie from that point forward, and I watched it every single day. I was the only kindergartener drawing flux capacitors and lightning bolts. Every toy, every bike, and every scooter had to get up to 88 mph before lightning struck the front porch, the street light, or the tree.
It's still awesome to me all these years later. My four year old is into it. I bought her a toy delorean off Amazon. Somebody up on Connecticut Avenue had a real one parked and she lost her mind.

we just saw BTTF II because it was ABC family channel in April. They go to November 15, 2015.
BTTF II is nowhere near as good as the first one, but it was interesting to see what they thought 2015 would be like. Marty has a Japanese boss and gets a FAX saying he's fired. (!)
It's a pretty salacious movie--not sure it was a good one for my elementary-aged kids.

My kiddo and I watched the trilogy during snow days this year We got it for christmas.
I saw it in theaters when I was 8. After my first sleepaway camp. It was out in the summer.
