This! I love it! My teen daughter loves her room painted this color (floor and ceiling)

BM simply white.
Or, if you are willing to go just a bit less "white" - BM moonlight white - very clean and not yellow, but warm. Try a sample on a wall before you decide it's not white enough for you - I was afraid to use it but changed my mind after sampling it on the wall.
I used the above two colors in my very shaded house and got the desired clean white walls without the depressing dingy effect.
I used both of those colors in the Benjamin Moore Aura paint, which is more expensive. They are supposed to be the same in all the different BM paints, but the Aura version looked better to me in the darker rooms.

In a sunny Florida apartment, my parents used decorators white, and it's great. I wish I could use it, but that color simply does not seem to work as well with the type of sunlight we have in the DC area, especially in my shaded house.

I found it didn't read well. It has that old office light feel.

I am so smitten by Duron's Swiss Coffee. I manages to be a very bright white AND warm. There's nothing dingy about it. It doesn't read sterile or cold at all.

I have it in my DD's room, the upstairs bathroom, and the kitchen. Each room has a single window.

It's definitely bright but carries a warmth I haven't encountered white other paint choices.

I think a stark white in a dark room can read gray/dirty. I've used BM Pompeii.

I've used both white dove and atrium white. WD is definitely too dark. AW has a pink undertone which can add some warmth if there's not a lot of natural light. I'm about to try cloud white as the trim for my new house.

Check out kylieminteriors.com.

She's writes a bunch of great articles about selecting paint colors and has some specifically about choosing the right white.

You might try BM's Atrium White. Not a dazzling white, but brighter than White Dove and with a touch of pink.

To the PP- out house is dove white and I don't like it for the bedrooms in the back side of the house because it's too dark. Rooms without good sunlight need a whiter white than dove white

We've used Benjamin Moore's cream froth, and for trim and ceiling we used their SuperWhite.

I love the look of brigh, crispy white, but I understand it works best when the room is flooded with natural light. For rooms that don't have a lot of natural light, what would be the best white (ideally, the closest to the "whitest" possible white) to use? Thanks.
