If sex is off the table, guys can usually have more fun with other guys than they would if they went on a date.

Yep, sorry. At least you had a minimum time and emotional commitment, and glad he backed off. I echo others in that if you don't want to have sex — and/or don't want to end up in relationship with a homebody who can't even come up with something fun to do on a second date (I had one of those!) — don't go to his house that fast.

I've been avoiding all dinner at home invitations. To me they mean, I want sex. I always suggest an alternative. Some of the guys have acted irritated by that.oh well...

No, he had no right to be icy + cold, but there is no law that will penalize him for it.

I recently met a guy online, we went out to fine on our first date and then he invited me over for dinner on our second date. Both times we had a great time. After dinner at his place, we sat on the couch, drinking wine. We started kissing and things got somewhat heated but I made it clear we wouldn't be having sex. He seemed ok with it. The next few days after our date he became consistently colder in both text & phone conversations.

I'm sure he thought he had a chance at sex that night but does he really have the right to be icy and rude? It was date 2 !!!
