I think she has issues giving up control and I also think she has some basic organizational issues...no matter how I arrange things she always lets it go, gets overwhelmed, forgets stuff, etc. That's why I was thinking having someone other than me sit down with her and set up a system might be more successful...was looking for a name or a type of advisor.

I used to use a spread sheet where I had all of my bills listed out and their due dates. I had a column for each month and I just checked them off as I paid them. This helped me keep track of everything and remember those bills that only happen a couple of times a year.
She doesn't want to do auto pay. I did it anyway for her health insurance. But these are the kind of battles I think might be better with someone neutral. She does not use a computer which is why it's hard to come up with a way to organize it for her. I created a grid of bills, etc. and she lost it. She writes everything down on a pad.
