Post it on craigslist and the buyers will move it for free. You can even post it for free and someone will remove it for you.


It's so big and heavy that I wouldn't trust any buyer to just come and get it. I think it took 4+ professional movers to get it up the stairs. I don't want any craigslist buyers to be killed in my home trying to get it down the stairs.

I'm literally going to hack apart a very old, falling apart armoire currently in my DDs bedroom and toss the pieces out her upstairs window. We had three contractors working on another project and offered them cash to haul that thing all the way to DD's top floor room and said then (ten years ago) that it was such a giant, literal pain to move that it would either stay in place forever (and convey) or will be sledgehammered and tossed.
