No, actually one pdf version of the calendar dated from the fall does not May 18 given as a day off. Probably a later version did make the change.

It was on the pdf originally. Once the change was made, they took it off.

May 1 is still a day off. May 18 is not.

It is listed on the 2014-15 Outlook calendar that I downloaded at the beginning of the school year as a Parent/Teacher conference day.

I have it on my "Important Dates" Calendar. And also the monthly 2014-2015 School Year Calendar.

In order to make up a day lost to inclement weather, DCPS says that Monday, May 18th, which was originally a parent/teacher conference day is now a full instructional day. Nowhere else do I see that May 18th was ever scheduled as a conference day - this includes the calendar I downloaded from the DCPS website in the fall and a printed calendar given to my child by a teacher at the beginning of the year. No big deal, just wonder what (if anything) am I missing?
