We've had a ton of cottontail rabbits in upper NW for a few years now. They severely limit our ability to plant especially native perennials, because they chew things to the ground. I recently learned that the city considers them a "Species of Greatest Conservation Need", which is pretty unbelievable given that I've sighted as many as 20 in my garden...

I confess. I ate them. I thought they were grapes. I spit them all out after I realized they were just flowers.

Bunnies? They eat all our crocus pansy flowers (sometimes in one day), and some of the verigated hosta.
